Miss G & Me: A Community for Tall Women

Updated: Feb 11

If you've been around any length of time, you'd know Miss G & Me is more than just a clothing label; it’s a community built for tall women by tall women. As the only Australian-made clothing label dedicated to tall women, we are on a mission to radically change the fashion landscape that has neglected tall women's options for far too long.

The Growing Demand for Tall Women’s Clothing in Australia

There is a clear demand for fashionable clothing designed specifically for tall women, and we have seen evidence of this firsthand. Over the last 12 months, our website has attracted more than 3,000 visitors searching for phrases like:

  • Tall women’s clothing

  • Pants for tall women

  • Tall black pants

  • Tall workout gear

  • Long work pants

  • Extra-long pants Australia

  • Tall women's trousers

The iterations go on, but the message remains the same: Tall Australian women want clothing options crafted specifically for their needs. They are asking for tall-designed pants in various styles for many occasions.

A Vision for the Future

At Miss G & Me, we aim to transform women's fashion in Australia by offering clothing that resonates with your style and needs. Last year, we processed 872 orders. The proof of our progress lies in the fact that 68% of these orders came from returning customers. Our commitment to delivering a beautiful fit and high-quality products sets us apart. However, this is just the beginning; we need to grow.

Even my daughter Miss G, now 13 and already 5'9", struggles to find pants that are long enough. She's not quite ready for our best-selling garments of 2024: Maddie Chillax and Monique Straight Leg.

For tall women, this isn’t just a fleeting need—it’s a lifelong necessity.

Navigating Challenges and Opportunities

Running a niche label like Miss G & Me is both rewarding and demanding. Yes, I now have a wider range of pants options than I ever imagined. However, we're still a small brand, which makes spreading the word essential for achieving economic stability and long-term success. We’re at a pivotal moment, and your perspective is invaluable.

Your Voice Matters

As a young brand, we face unique hurdles. Our email list and social media followers count fewer than 2,000. Every comment and recommendation matter. Your feedback will guide our designs and decisions, ensuring we meet the needs of our community of tall women.

Recently, we noticed a concerning trend: over 40 women unsubscribed from our email list in December and January alone. This leads me to ask, are we not providing what you want? This is your chance to tell us how we can improve!

  1. Take the Survey: Your insights will directly shape our upcoming designs and strategies. Around the world, I’ve seen labels targeting tall women produce unwanted designs, leading to many labels shutting down. Relevance and scalability are vital.

  1. Spread the Word: Share this blog post or our social media links with your tall friends, family, and even your “shorter” communities. We all know someone who could use our label! Every share helps us reach more tall women who deserve exceptional quality and fit in their clothing options.

  2. Stay Connected: Keep supporting Miss G & Me by engaging with our updates, designs, and promotions. Together, we’ll continue to build a label that celebrates tall women with the quality and fit we deserve.

Building a Sustainable Community

Your support is more than just about clothing; it’s about creating a community where tall women feel seen, celebrated, and stylish in a way that reflects their personality. With your perspective in mind, we can ensure Miss G & Me evolves into not just a brand, but a movement that persists well into the future.
