What Tall Women Actually Need in a Track Pant

Before we get into Natasha and Maddie specifically, it is worth naming what the standard market consistently gets wrong for tall women.

Inseam length is the obvious one. Most track pants in Australian stores are cut to an inseam of 30 to 32 inches. For women 5'10" and above that reads as cropped at best and awkward at worst. Miss G & Me track pants are designed for women with an inseam of 36 inches.

Rise is the next issue. A low rise on a tall body with a longer torso sits differently than it does on a shorter frame. It can gap at the back and feel unstable when you move. Both Natasha and Maddie are designed with a rise that respects the proportions of a tall torso.

Waistband depth matters more than most people realise. A narrow waistband rolls. A deep waistband stays. Both our pants carry a substantial waistband that holds its place without digging in.

And then there is the ankle. Tall women should not have to guess whether a pant will reach their ankle. With both Natasha and Maddie it simply does. That is the baseline we design from.

🩶 Natasha - Tailored Lounge Pant

There is a specific kind of pant that has not existed for tall women, before now. Not workwear. Not activewear. Something in between, and built to fit a body the mainstream market keeps forgetting.

Natasha is a tailored lounge pant for tall women, cut to a 36" inseam and made from a weighted brushed-back cotton fleece in soft grey marle. She drapes properly. She holds her shape. Prewashed for dimensional stability, what you receive is exactly what you will keep.

The flat front and internal waistband adjuster give a clean line across the hip with no cord and no bulk. Half mesh pockets sit flat. A side split hem gives ease without losing the line. And the subtle logo embroidery does the quiet work.

Natasha was designed with the Lorien Quarter-Zip in mind. A considered set that moves between the studio, the school run, and the weekend without changing gears. She works equally well with the Penni Blazer when the day calls for something more.
