Non-stretch fabrics behave differently to stretch blends - they don’t give with movement, so the fit needs to be right from the start. That’s why thoughtful sizing makes such a difference, especially for curvy bodies.
Here are a few helpful guidelines:
1. Know the Waist–Hip Balance
For non-stretch pants, the relationship between your waist and hips matters more than ever:

If your hips are significantly larger than your waist (by 20 cm / 8″ or more), it can be better to size for hip comfort first, then tailor the waist if needed Keryn has belt loops to aid this.

If your waist and hips are closer in measurement, sizing closer to your waist measurement usually gives a more flattering and comfortable fit.
